In Sanatana Dharma, Gomata is revered as the abode of thirty-three crore deities. Serving Gomata is deemed among the most meritorious deeds, purifying karma and bestowing peace and auspiciousness upon devotee families.

Sri Ramakrishna Go Samrakshana Sala was established as an integral seva arm of the Devalayam at Palvai Junction, Rentachintala. It provides a peaceful, safe haven where cows, calves, and bulls are protected, fed nutritious green fodder, and given tender care throughout their natural lives.
